Is there a Minimum Order Value?

Yes, there is a small minimum order value of £30, excluding VAT & delivery.

What delivery options do you offer?

We offer 3 delivery options right across the UK:

  • Standard Delivery (3-5 working days) £6.95 - Perfect if you’re not in a rush.
  • Express Delivery (1-2 working days) £7.95 - Our most popular delivery service.
  • ExpressAM Delivery (1-2 working days) £8.95 - The solution if you have afternoon plans.
  • Saturday Delivery £12.95 - If you need delivery for a Saturday.

All of our delivery options are Monday-Friday, between 7am – 6:30pm, excluding UK public holidays.

If your order contains any Fresh/Deli goods, you will only be presented with our Express Delivery options. This is due to the refrigeration requirements to keep your goods fresh throughout the entire delivery process.

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes, if your order sub-total is equal to or over £100 (excluding VAT) then you will qualify for free standard delivery!

Do you offer next day delivery?

With our Express and ExpressAM delivery service, we will deliver your order within 1-2 working days. In order to qualify for next day delivery, your order must be placed before 10am Monday to Thursday, or Friday before 10am if your order contains only non-perishable goods.

Should your order be placed later than the 10am cut off time, please allow for an extra day for delivery on all of our delivery options.

*Due to refrigeration requirements, perishable goods cannot sustain the delivery network over the weekend. Any orders placed on Friday anytime that contain perishable goods will be sent out for delivery after the weekend.



Do you offer weekend delivery?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a weekend delivery service at the moment. If you would like your order to arrive before the weekend, the cut-off point is Thursday at 10am, or Friday before 10am if your order contains only non-perishable goods.

Any orders placed after this point will be delivered as per the delivery timetable above.



How will my products stay fresh throughout delivery?

All Fresh/Deli goods are packaged in thermal insulated packs with gel ice packs to ensure they arrive in the same fresh state as when it leaves our premises.

As stated above, if your order contains Fresh/Deli goods, you will only be presented with the Express delivery options to ensure your products will stay fresh in transit and do not exceed the refrigeration limits.



Are there any delivery surcharges?

In order to keep your products safe and protected throughout delivery, there is a small delivery surcharge for certain items on our website. See below the items that will incur a delivery surcharge:

  •          Multipacks of Bottled Water (Plastic & Glass) - £2.00 delivery surcharge per case
  •          Multipacks of Glass Bottled Sauces - £2.00 delivery surcharge per case


When you arrive at the checkout, the additional surcharge will not be itemised, however instead it will be added into the overall delivery charge for your order.



What locations do you deliver to?

Cicero's deliver right across the UK with all of our delivery options.

Please note, deliveries to the Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly, and Scottish Highlands may take longer as outlined below:

Zone 2 - subject to an additional 1 day on either delivery option chosen.

What delivery updates and communication will I receive?

Cicero's is proud to have partnered with Parcelforce in order to deliver tracked parcels safely to your door.

We know it’s important for you to know the happenings of your order, therefore we make sure you’re kept up to date along its journey. You’ll receive a series of emails from us, including:

  • Order Confirmation - an email confirming your order has been placed and received by our team.
  • Order Dispatch - an email once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse and on its way for delivery. You will also have a tracking number for you to track your order throughout its journey.
  • Order Delivered – an email confirming your order has been delivered and fulfilled via our courier service.


If you’ve not received any emails and you’ve placed an order, it may be worth checking your junk folder in case your confirmation emails have ended up there.



What if I’m not home when my Order is being delivered?

Our courier partners Parcelforce have recently launched ‘Parcelforce Select’ which allows you to tailor and manage your parcel right up until the day of delivery.

Through interactive messages, you can instruct the Parcelforce driver WHEN, WHERE, & HOW you want your parcel to be delivered. Not going to be home? No problem - just instruct the driver to deliver to a neighbour or safe place, or even select a preferred delivery date. You will be given a one hour delivery time slot.

Should there be no interaction using ‘Parcelforce Select’, our couriers will attempt to redeliver your order a second time within the next working day.

Should you need to track a delivery of your parcel, you can do so via the tracking website:


Enter the tracking number provided in your dispatch email after you've placed an order. If for some reason your item is not trackable, it could be due to Parcelforce not enabling tracking immediately, in which case please do allow for a further 2-4 hours before tracking becomes available.


  • Should you miss the second attempted delivery to your address from our couriers, or you fail to provide an alternative delivery date within 24 hours of the missed delivery, you are responsible for any perishable goods that have been spoiled by the extended time in transit and therefore bear the cost of any perishable items to be replaced or disposed of. See our terms and conditions for more information on this.
  • If we are unable to deliver to you, or have to deliver late, for reasons beyond our control, for example adverse weather conditions, strike actions, vehicle breakdown, traffic congestion or supplier failure, we cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss that this causes.

All of our deliveries are expertly packaged in custom environmentally-friendly packaging, sized around each individual order, therefore reducing waste. 

We use 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable loose fill chips all-round protective solution and are ideal for void filling, to ensure we minimise any damages and breakages during transit.

Our Fresh/Deli goods are packaged in thermal insulated packs to ensure they arrive in the same fresh state as when it leaves our premises.
